We are happy to announce that over the New Year we updated our ExitLightCo.com website.\u00a0 If you’ve visited our site in the past, you will notice some major differences.\u00a0 Our goal is to provide an exceptional Customer Experience through our easy to use website.\u00a0 In this post, we will highlight some of the major changes that were made.<\/p>\n
In an effort to simplify the process of finding the Emergency Lighting or Egress Lighting product of choice, we have condensed many products that used to have their own individual listing, into one individual listing for all available options.\u00a0 For example, our top selling Exit Sign is the “Standard Red LED Exit Sign | White or Black Housing<\/a>“.\u00a0 This Exit Sign has a number of options, such as ordering the unit in white or black and choosing the Operation Type of the exit sign.\u00a0 Previously in our old website, all of the available options were split into their own listing, meaning it was not possible to see all available options for this exit sign on a single page.\u00a0 If you wanted to find the Black Exit sign with No Battery, it would take some searching to actually find that product.<\/p>\n We understand that if you can’t find what you’re looking for quickly, you’re going to go somewhere else where it’s easier to find.\u00a0 This is primarily why our “Main Navigation Bar” was revamped.\u00a0 We simplified the amount of Links so you feel less bombarded with where to go next.\u00a0 Our Main Categories were condensed to “Exit Signs”, “Emergency Lights”, “Exit Sign \/ Lights Combo”, “Accessories” and “Bulbs & Lamps”.\u00a0 Moving your mouse over any of these buttons will reveal more specific categories.\u00a0 Images have been added to this section to highlight our most popular categories.\u00a0 On many pages, the Left-Hand side of the website will reveal where you are at in the hierarchy of our website and be used to navigate to other pages.<\/p>\n The following quote served as inspiration for our complete revamp of product information we display on Product Listings : “Exceed your customer’s expectations. If you do, they’ll come back over and over.
