A heavy-duty outdoor combo unit. This ultrabright, compact unit provides the affordability you’ve been looking for in a high-end package. Tamperproof hardware helps discourage unauthorized access to the unit. This exit sign operates at 120-277 VAC. Long-life LEDs and NiCad battery make this unit energy efficient and maintenance-free! Includes one “exit” faceplate. Please select the double-sided option if needed. Perfect for wall (single-sided), top, and side mount installation. The standard unit is capable of operating in temperatures 32°F to 104 °F. For operating temperatures of -4°F to 122°F, please select the “Expanded Temp Rating” option. Optional Remote Head Capable model allows for additional 3.6V remote lamp heads to be connected and wired at a different location where additional lighting is needed – See "Remote Head Capable" section for more information. The optional Self-Testing model is a great solution where manual testing is not possible or practical. The unit will perform the required NFPA testing and indicate the outcome of the test – See the “Self-Testing” section for more information.

Construction
5VA flame retardant, UV stabilized, high-impact resistant polycarbonate with a white finish. Polycarbonate lens is UV stabilized but some discoloration may occur over time if installed in direct sunlight. Corrosion resistant enclosure with engineering grade silicone gasket. Top and side K/O’s provided for conduit feed applications.
Illumination
Long lasting, efficient, ultra bright white LED lamp heads. 3.6W (3 LEDs x 1.2 watt) per head. Adjustable LED lamp heads provide optimal center-to-center spacing. Long-life, energy efficient Red or LED EXIT sign illumination.
Emergency Operation
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solidstate transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.

Self-Testing Option
Self-diagnostic feature performs monthly, biannual, and annual tests to ensure reliable operation and meet electrical and life safety codes. Unit will automatically perform NFPA required monthly and annual testing. Refer to user manual for details.
Remote Head Capable Option
Remote head options give you the ability to connect additional remote head lights. (1) 6V Remote Head or (2) 3V Remote Heads
Electrical Components
Dual 120/277 voltage. Unique bi-color LED indicator light alerts occupant on battery condition (Green-normal, Redcheck battery). 6V long life, maintenance free, rechargeable NiCd battery. Installation
The WLCOHD unit is suitable for surface wall mount, side and top mounting via included canopy. Snap together design allows for quick and easy installation. Knock-out chevrons for customized egress signage.

Instead of having to manually press and hold the test button for the duration of the test, this unit, with the self test option, performs the test on its own. There is a legend next to the AC indicator light that helps determine which test is being performed and if anything is needed.

Also, keep in mind that the UV stabilized, high-impact resistant polycarbonate with a white finish. Polycarbonate lens is UV stabilized but some discoloration may occur over time if installed in direct sunlight.
