The EB-LEDMCW is a versatile emergency LED driver designed to provide reliable backup power for a wide range of indoor and outdoor luminaires. Featuring an integrated driver and battery pack within a durable die-cast aluminum housing, it delivers stable AC (sine wave) output and supports both factory-installed and field retrofit applications. Compatible with 0–10V dimming systems and suitable for 10–100W lamps (including ≤10W fixtures with or without dimming), the EB-LEDMCW is engineered for low-temperature environments and wet location use. Equipped with automatic self-check functionality, overcharge and over-discharge protection, and a long-life Ni-Cd battery pack, it ensures dependable emergency performance in demanding conditions.

Construction
The EB-LEDMCW features a durable aluminum die-cast housing with a black powder coat finish, providing strength, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting performance in demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
TEST BUTTON/INDICATOR LIGHT
The EB-LEDMCW features an integrated test button with LED status indicator for convenient system monitoring. Pressing the test button activates emergency mode; releasing the button returns the unit to charging mode. A solid red LED indicates normal charging operation.
SELF-CHECK
Upon initial power-up, the EB-LEDMCW automatically performs a functional self-check, during which the red LED indicator will flash slowly. The system verifies lamp compatibility, lamp starting current, lamp starting time, dimming start voltage, and dimming slope. Once the test is successfully completed, the unit resumes normal operation and the red LED remains solid. This self-check will not repeat unless the unit enters rest mode or the battery is disconnected.
Emergency Operation
The EB-LEDMCW emergency driver provides a minimum of 90 minutes of battery backup time.

The EB-LEDMCW utilizes a 12V 3Ah Ni-Cd battery pack designed to provide a minimum 90-minute emergency runtime. The battery fully recharges within 24 hours, ensuring the unit is ready for subsequent emergency operation.

REST MODE
The EB-LEDMCW includes a built-in rest mode designed to extend battery shelf life by minimizing leakage current during long-term storage. To activate rest mode, press and hold the test button for more than 3 seconds while in emergency mode. When enabled, the battery is fully disconnected from the inverter, significantly reducing leakage current and allowing for extended storage life.
