The WF6-CP is a 6" round LED recessed wafer with integrated battery backup, designed to provide both normal illumination and reliable emergency lighting in a single low-voltage fixture. Featuring a slim, low-profile design ideal for shallow plenum spaces, the WF6-CP combines standard downlight performance with built-in emergency operation, delivering 4.2W of emergency output for 90 minutes via an internal lithium battery. Field-selectable wattage and 5CCT color temperature options allow for flexible installation across a variety of applications. Construction

The WF6-CP emergency driver housing is constructed from durable steel and finished with a red powder-coated paint. Recessed down light has a white finish.

Illumination

The WF6-CP features 5 CCT field-selectable color temperature options, including 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K, allowing flexibility to match a wide range of residential and commercial lighting environments.

The WF6-CP emergency driver provides a minimum of 90 minutes of battery backup time.

Battery - Battery Backup

The WF6-CP emergency driver features a maintenance-free Li-ion battery that provides a minimum emergency runtime of 90 minutes. The battery fully recharges in 24 hours.

Self-Testing Option

The WF6-CP includes an integrated control and monitoring circuit that, when enabled, automatically performs a 30-second discharge test once per month and a full 90-minute discharge test annually. During routine testing, the emergency driver simulates an AC power failure, automatically switching the unit to emergency mode. The system continuously monitors LED load operation, battery voltage, and emergency duration. If the unit detects a malfunction, the LED indicator will flash according to the failure condition until the issue is corrected and the unit successfully passes the next scheduled test. Refer to the Self-Testing document for additional details and troubleshooting information.

Installation

The WF6-CP is a recessed ceiling-mounted downlight designed for installation in drywall or sheetrock ceilings over ½" thick. A cut-out template is included for accurate and easy installation. The fixture features a built-in junction box for convenient wiring and requires a minimum of 2 inches of ceiling space to accommodate the spring clips for secure mounting.
