The WLT-U is a new wet-listed LED exit sign designed for reliable performance in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Featuring a fully gasketed, weather-resistant design, it helps protect against moisture and harsh conditions while maintaining clear, code-compliant egress visibility. The WLT-U includes a red/green selectable LED legend with a convenient toggle switch for quick field configuration and is now designed with a touch test sensor, eliminating the need for a traditional push-to-test button. Powered by a long-life LiFePO4 battery, it is ideal for commercial and industrial applications requiring durable wet location exit signage.

Construction
The WLT-U features a durable polycarbonate housing with a waterproof design, making it suitable for wet-location installations. Its compact, decorative enclosure is constructed from UV-resistant, 5VA flame-retardant plastic and assembled with stainless steel screws for enhanced corrosion resistance. The housing is also designed with an integrated touch test sensor, eliminating the need for a traditional push-to-test button. The WLT-U is available in universal single- or double-face configurations and includes 6-inch EXIT letters with a 3/4-inch stroke for a 100-foot viewing distance. Snap-in/snap-out directional chevrons are included for fast field installation.
Illumination
The WLT-U features a field-selectable Red or Green LED EXIT sign with a matched color diffuser for clear and uniform illumination. The unit is factory defaulted to Red, allowing for quick installation while providing easy color selection in the field.
Emergency Operation
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solidstate transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.
Battery - Battery Backup
The WLT-U is equipped with a 3.2V 400mAh battery for the battery backup and self-testing models, providing a minimum emergency duration of 90 minutes. The cold weather option includes a 3.2V 600mAh battery for improved performance in low-temperature environments. The battery system is maintenance-free, fully rechargeable within 24 hours, and protected by a low-voltage cut-off circuit to prevent deep discharge and extend battery life.

Self-Testing Option
Unit continuously monitors the AC power, battery supply voltage, emergency lamp condition and charging circuit. If failure is detected, the indicator will show status and correct when adjusted. Unit will automatically perform NFPA required monthly and annual testing. Refer to user manual for details.

The WLT-U supports optional 120–277VAC, 50/60Hz input voltage and is equipped with brownout circuit protection for reliable operation during unstable power conditions. Additional safety features include battery low-voltage protection and a solid-state transfer circuit for seamless transition to emergency mode. The unit includes a test switch and battery charging indicator for easy monitoring and maintenance. Powered by a maintenance-free LiFePO4 battery, the WLT-U provides more than 90 minutes of emergency operation with a full recharge time of 24 hours.

Installation
The WLT-U is suitable for side mount and top mount with the included mounting canopy. Universal knockout pattern can be found on the blank faceplate for wall mount installations. Snap together design allows for quick and easy installation. Knock-outs provided for conduit feed applications. Knock-out chevrons for customized egress signage.
