The EL-C1D2-HO Hazardous Location Emergency Light provides high-output emergency illumination for demanding industrial and hazardous environments. Rated for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C & D locations with a T4A rating, the unit features a rugged polycarbonate enclosure with NEMA 4X and IP66 protection for wet and outdoor applications. Two fully adjustable 5000K LED lamp heads provide high-output illumination and extended fixture spacing. A maintenance-free LiFePO4 battery provides a minimum of 120 minutes of emergency operation. Available with self-testing/self-diagnostics and cold-location configurations. NSF/ANSI 2 certified for splash-zone applications in food processing and food service environments.

Construction
The EL-C1D2-HO features a durable polycarbonate enclosure with 5VA flame-retardant and UV-resistant construction, along with stainless steel hardware for outdoor and demanding environments. Two fully adjustable high-output LED lamp heads provide flexible positioning for optimal emergency egress illumination.
Illumination
The EL-C1D2-HO is a high-output emergency light featuring two fully adjustable 5000K LED lamp heads that deliver up to 1,600 lumens of emergency illumination. The high lumen output provides excellent egress coverage and allows for extended fixture-to-fixture spacing.
Emergency Operation
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solid-state transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates recharging a discharged battery within 24 hours.
Battery - Battery Backup
The EL-C1D2-HO Emergency Light series features a 9.6V 5000mAH maintenance-free LiFEPO4 battery that provides a minimum emergency duration of 90-120 minutes. Recharge time of the battery is 24 hours.

Actual spacing and illumination levels may vary depending on mounting conditions, room geometry, surface reflectance, obstructions, and other site-specific factors.
Self-Testing Option
The EL-C1D2-HO automatically performs NFPA-required monthly and annual testing while continuously monitoring AC power, the charging circuit, battery voltage, and AC-to-emergency transfer operation. This helps ensure reliable emergency operation and code compliance. A manual test can also be initiated using the touch sensor test switch.
NSF/ANSI 2 CERTIFIED
The EL-C1D2-HO is certified to NSF/ANSI 2-2022 (Food Equipment) requirements and is suitable for splash-zone applications in food processing and food service environments. Electrical Components
The EL-C1D2-HO operates on universal 120–347VAC, 50/60Hz input and includes a maintenance-free LiFePO4 battery that provides 120 minutes of emergency operation with a 24-hour recharge time. A touch sensor test switch with LED status indicator allows for convenient code-required testing. The solid-state circuitry includes brownout transfer, low-voltage disconnect, overload protection, short-circuit protection, and automatic AC-to-emergency transfer.
Installation
The EL-C1D2-HO is designed for surface wall mounting using die-cast mounting brackets and includes a conduit hub for conduit or pendant-mount installation. The unit is rated for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C & D hazardous locations with a T4A temperature rating. Its NEMA 4X and IP66-rated enclosure is suitable for wet and outdoor locations, with a cold-location (CL) version available for freezer and low-temperature applications.
