The COMBOJR is a durable and popular exit sign and emergency light combo ideal for entrances, retail areas, corridors, stairwells, and other areas that require dependable emergency illumination. This well-built 2-in-1 unit combines both exit signage and emergency lighting in one compact, efficient design. The updated COMBOJR now features a field-selectable red/green toggle switch, allowing users to easily choose between red or green LED illumination, and includes both red and green diffusers for maximum versatility. Operating on 120V–277VAC universal voltage, it comes equipped with a maintenance-free 3.6V 1000mAh Ni-MH battery that provides 90 minutes of emergency lighting during a power failure. The unit includes two faceplates for single- or double-sided viewing with field-installable directional chevrons, and an optional Remote Head Capable model allows additional 3.6V remote lamp heads to be connected and powered from the same source where extra lighting is needed.– See “Remote Head Capable” section for more information.

Construction
The COMBOJR-U series is constructed from injection molded, high-impact and scratch-resistant and corrosion-proof UL 94 V-0 flame retardant thermoplastic housing. White housing is standard.
Illumination
Uses (2) 1W lamps that distribute even white light. EXIT portion uses long-lasting, efficient red/green LEDs. An internal toggle switch easily allows selection between red or green LED colors; the default setting is red.
Emergency Operation
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solidstate transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours.
Battery - Battery Backup
The COMBOJR-U Combo Exit Light series is designed with a maintenance-free 3.6V 1000mAh Ni-Mh battery that provides a minimum emergency duration of 90 minutes. Recharge time of the battery is 24 hours.

Remote Head Capable Option
The remote head capability option allows the COMBOJR-U unit to supply power to up to two additional 3.6V LED remote heads. The unit can supply power to either 2 single head remote lamps or 1 double head remote lamp. The remote heads would then operate on the same emergency mode as the standard units (see Emergency Operation Section).
Electrical Components
Universal voltage input 120V-277VAC operation. LED display indicates AC/ON. An external push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational status of the unit. Unit offers surge protected, solid state circuitry.
Installation
The COMBOJR-U is suitable for surface wall and top mounting via included canopy. Unibody housing snaps together with no additional fasteners. Quick connect installation design allows for quick and easy installation. Knock-out chevrons for customized egress signage and field adjustable.
